All-star season is fast approaching. Please fill out this form if you want your daughter to participate in the league all-star tryouts for 6U, 8U, 10U or 12U.  Only those who register using this form will be eligible to tryout on  Tuesday, April  16. Times and fields will be communicated the week before to those that register.

Important: 14U will not field a team as we require a minimum of 2 teams in an age division to have an all-star team. We are working with Pasadena, to see if they will allow those that are interested from SBGSA 14U to tryout for their all-star team.

All star season runs from May until the end of June (possibly early July). Only 12 girls are selected and no minimum or maximum will be picked from each team. 

Note the following:

• Players MUST register by 10:00 PM Sunday April 14 to tryout.
• To limit the number of players trying out and because the team is typically composed of the 12 strongest players, we are asking coaches to personally recommend your daughter if they feel like she is capable of being selected. This does not mean your daughter cannot register and tryout if you feel like she can make the team.
• Tryouts will be Tuesday, April 16 @ 6PM at our fields. More info will be sent to those that register.
• Players MUST be available to play at the Houston Metro tournament which takes place on May 24-26.
• Players should be available to practice/play until the Metro tournament, but teams may opt to play until end of June or a little later.
• There MAY be a small fee to participate in all stars (Typically $20 so parents have a vested interest in playing).
• All tournaments will be at the expense of the team and its members, but the league will pay the entry fee for the Metro Tournament and some of the umpire fees.
• The league will supply uniforms (at least a jersey).
• The all-star coach is typically the coach whose team ended up in first place, but any head coach can submit their request to coach the team. The board will approve the coach that will best represent the league during all-star play.
